Custom lightsabers are products that you can enjoy safely for a long time by following proper usage and precautions.
Please read the following information carefully to ensure safe use.

Precautions for Use

  • Blade Compatibility: Do not attach blades of different sizes, such as a 7/8-inch blade, to a saber designed for 1-inch blades. Doing so may misalign the connector contacts and cause malfunctions.
  • Intended Use: Do not aim or use the saber toward people or animals.
  • Batteries:
    • Always charge lithium-ion batteries using a dedicated charger.
    • Do not activate the saber while it is charging.
    • When inserting the battery, ensure the polarity (positive/negative) is correct. Inserting it backward may damage the circuit board.
    • If a saber with a built-in battery is left unused for a long period, it may over-discharge and become unusable. We recommend charging it at least once a month, even when not in use.
    • For models with a kill switch or removable battery, remove the battery or keep the kill switch in the OFF position when the saber is not in use for an extended period. This prevents battery degradation, over-discharge, and accidental power conduction.
  • In-Hilt LED Models (RGB-X, XRGB): Do not look directly into the internal LED or point it at anyone while the blade or blade plug is not attached. The LEDs in in-hilt models are powerful and can be harmful to eyesight.
  • Neopixel Models:
    • Use for approximately 30 minutes at a time as a guideline. Recharge after use.
    • Ensure the pin terminals in the blade socket on the saber do not touch any metal objects other than the blade, as this can cause a short circuit and malfunction.
  • Circuit Board, Battery, and Chassis: Keep the circuit board and battery free from moisture and conductive materials such as metal.
  • Prohibition of Using Chassis Alone: Use the saber only with the chassis properly installed inside the hilt. Using it while incompletely installed or swinging the chassis alone may cause damage.
  • Blade Attachment: Attach the blade slowly. Pushing it in forcefully may damage the connector or LEDs.

Configuration Precautions

  • Proffieboard: Set the volume value (#define VOLUME) in the configuration file to a maximum of 1500. Setting it higher may damage the speaker.
  • General Configuration Changes: Troubleshooting or malfunctions caused by configuration changes may not be covered under warranty. While we can provide support via inquiry, additional fees may apply if the item needs to be returned or repaired.

[Important] Regarding Lithium-Ion Batteries

Custom lightsabers use lithium-ion batteries.
Improper handling may cause fire or explosion. Please strictly observe the following precautions.

  • PSE Mark: For safety reasons, please use batteries with the PSE mark. We recommend KEEPPOWER batteries.
  • Storage: Do not leave the battery in high-temperature environments, such as in direct sunlight or inside a car in summer.
  • Keep Away from Fire: Do not use or store the battery near open flames.
  • Keep Dry: Do not use or store the battery in water or damp, humid areas.
  • Charging:
    • Monitor the battery visually during charging for any abnormalities; if any are detected, stop use immediately.
    • Always use a charger specifically designed for lithium-ion batteries.
  • Disposal: Since disposal methods for lithium-ion batteries vary by municipality, always check your local government's instructions. Never dispose of them with regular non-combustible waste.
