Custom lightsabers are toys that can be safely used for a long time if you follow the usage instructions and precautions carefully. Please read this page and use the product safely and correctly.


Usage notes

  • Do not use a blade of a different size, such as 7/8 inch, on a saber designed for 1 inch blades. This may cause the connector contacts to shift, resulting in a malfunction.
  • Do not use on people or animals.
  • Always charge the lithium-ion battery using a dedicated charger.
  • Please refrain from using (starting) the device while it is charging.
  • In the case of built-in LED (RGB-X, XRGB), the installed projection type LED is very powerful. Please be careful not to look directly at the LED light. It may have a negative effect on your eyesight.
  • When installing the battery, please pay close attention to the positive and negative battery polarity. If the polarity is incorrect, a reverse current may flow and damage the circuit board.
  • The NeoPixel model has a continuous usage time of about 30 minutes. After that, it will need to be charged. Please note that it is not suitable for long-term use.
  • Do not allow the NeoPixel pins on the blade attachment port of the saber to come into contact with any metal objects other than the blade, as this may cause a short circuit and result in failure.
  • Please ensure that the circuit board does not come into contact with conductive materials such as metal or moisture.
  • Please make sure to attach the grip parts when using the product. Swinging the product around by holding only the chassis may put strain on the chassis and cause damage.
  • When installing the blade, please install it slowly without using too much force. Installing it too forcefully may damage the connector or LED.

Configuration Guidelines

  • When changing the settings of your Proffieboard, please set the volume status (#define VOLUME) to an upper limit of 1800. Output above the upper limit may damage the speakers.
  • We cannot guarantee against any troubles or malfunctions caused by changing the settings, so please handle them at your own risk.

 

[Important] Regarding lithium-ion batteries

This product contains a lithium-ion battery. Lithium-ion batteries can burn or explode if used improperly, so please be sure to observe the following precautions.

  • Do not leave in direct sunlight or in a high temperature location.
  • Please use a battery that has the PSE mark.
  • Do not use or leave near open flames.
  • Do not use in wet or humid locations.
  • Please monitor the device while in use or charging, and discontinue use immediately if any abnormalities are detected.
  • Always charge the lithium-ion battery using a dedicated charger.
  • If you notice any abnormalities while using or charging the product, stop using it immediately.
  • When disposing of lithium-ion batteries, please dispose of them in accordance with local government instructions.
