Attention|ATTENTION

Custom lightsabers are products that can be enjoyed safely for a long time if you follow the correct usage instructions and precautions.
Please check the following information to ensure safe use.

Usage notes

  • Blade compatibility: Do not use a 7/8 inch or other different sized blade on a 1 inch blade saver. Doing so may cause the connector contacts to shift, resulting in a malfunction.
  • Intended use: Do not use on people or animals.
  • battery:
    • Always charge the lithium-ion battery using a dedicated charger.
    • Do not activate the saver while charging.
    • When inserting the battery, please check the polarity (plus and minus) correctly. Inserting the battery in the wrong direction may damage the circuit board.
    • If a battery-powered saver is left unused for a long period of time, it may become over-discharged and become unusable. Even if you are not using the saver, we recommend that you charge it about once a month.
    • For models with a kill switch or removable batteries, remove the batteries or store the device with the kill switch turned OFF if you will not be using the device for an extended period of time. This will prevent battery deterioration, over-discharge, and unexpected power supply.
  • Built-in LED models (RGB-X, XRGB): Do not look directly at the internal LEDs or point them at people when the blade or blade plug is not attached. The LEDs in built-in LED models are powerful and may adversely affect your eyesight.
  • Neopixel Models:
    • The recommended continuous use time is approximately 30 minutes. Please charge the device after use.
    • Be careful not to touch the pin terminals on the blade attachment port of the saber to any metal objects other than the blade, as this may cause a short circuit and result in a malfunction.
  • Circuit board, battery, chassis: Be careful not to let moisture or conductive objects such as metal come into contact with the circuit board or battery.
  • Do not use the chassis alone: When using the saber, make sure the chassis is mounted on the hilt and used while it is attached. If the chassis is not fully attached to the hilt or is swung around by itself, it may be damaged.
  • Inserting the blade: When inserting the blade, insert it slowly. Pressing it in too hard can damage the connector and/or LED.

Configuration Guidelines

  • Proffieboard: The volume value ( #define VOLUME ) in the configuration file should not exceed 1800. Setting it higher than that may damage the speakers.
  • General setting changes: Troubles or malfunctions caused by setting changes may not be covered by the warranty. Support is available upon inquiry, but if return or repair is required, additional costs may apply.

[Important] Regarding lithium-ion batteries

Custom lightsabers use lithium-ion batteries.
Improper handling may result in fire or explosion. Please be sure to observe the following precautions.

  • PSE mark: For safety reasons, please use batteries that are PSE marked. We recommend KEEP POWER batteries.
  • Storage location: Do not store in direct sunlight or in a high temperature environment such as inside a car in summer.
  • No open flames: Do not use or store the battery near fire.
  • Do not expose the battery to water: Do not use or store the battery in wet or humid places.
  • About charging:
    • While charging, visually check for any abnormalities and immediately discontinue use if any are found.
    • Be sure to use a charger designed specifically for lithium-ion batteries.
  • Disposal method: Disposal methods for lithium-ion batteries vary by municipality, so be sure to check the instructions of your local municipality. Never dispose of them with non-burnable waste.
