XENO3 operating instructions and precautions

Introduction

XENO3 is a user-friendly and high-performance soundboard with a wide range of sound fonts, various blade effects, and easy setting adjustment functions. It can be used by a wide range of users, from beginners to advanced users who are accustomed to customization.

Click: Press and quickly release the button.

Hold: Press and hold the button.

Twist: Rotate the button 90 degrees to the left or right and then return it to its original position.

Push (Stab) - Hold the blade horizontally and perform a thrusting motion.

How to operate

Sleep mode release
(Activate)
Hold the button for about 2 seconds while in sleep mode (when the button LED is off). You will hear a "Power ON" sound and the device will exit sleep mode.
ON (start) Click the button while stopped. Start the saver.
When in sleep mode, please cancel sleep mode first.
Motion ON Push while stopped (stub). It can be turned on (activated) by motion without using a button.
Change to next font Hold the button while stopped. The font sound will be played and the next set font (sound source) will be played.
Change to previous font While stopped, twist with the blade side facing downwards. Switch to the previous font (sound source).
BGM playback/
Stop
While stopped, twist with the blade side pointing above horizontal. The background music set for each font will play. If the background music is playing, it will stop.

*This will not work with fonts that do not have background music.
Volume change function While stopped, hold down the button and release it when the button LED flashes once*. You can adjust the volume of the saver.

The volume can be adjusted to three levels: high volume, low volume, and mute.
Effect change function While stopped, hold down the button and release it when the button LED flashes twice*. You can change the blade effect while the saver is active.

You can choose from ①Steady (Simple) → ②Unstable → ③Rainbow Blade (Rainbow Color Emission) → ④Candy Blade (Rainbow Color Emission 2) → ⑤Crack Blade → ⑥Pulse (Slow Flashing) → ⑦Flash Blade (Fast Flashing) → ⑧Fire Blade (Flame).
Blade mode change function While stopped, hold down the button and release it when the button LED flashes three times*.

You can change the light effect (pre-on function) when the saber is activated and the blade pattern.

You can choose from ①Standard Mode → ②Velocity Mode → ③Torch Mode → ④Blaster Mode → ⑤Ghost Mode → ⑥Broken Ignition → ⑦Photon Ignition → ⑧Stack Ignition → ⑨Warp Ignition → ⑩Phaser Ignition → ⑪Scavenger Ignition → ⑫Hunter Ignition.

Sleep mode function While the unit is stopped, hold down the button for approximately 10 seconds until you hear the "Power Off" sound.
The font will change along the way, but please continue holding.
The machine will enter sleep mode.
While in sleep mode, the device is in a power saving state and will not accept any operations unless the device is released from sleep mode.
When the device enters sleep mode, the button LED turns off.
Or, it will automatically switch to OFF mode after a certain period of time has passed.
OFF (stop) Hold the button during startup. The saver will be turned off.
Motion OFF Twist while running to turn off (stop). It can be turned off (stopped) by motion without using a button.
Blaster Function Click the button during startup. When activated, a blaster effect and sound will be emitted.
Flash-on-Crash (FoC) function Shock the hilt while it's activated. When activated, there is a crashing sound and the blade flashes.
Lockup Function Hold down the button while launching to cause a crash. When activated, a lock-up sound and effect will be heard.

Releasing the hold will release the lockup.
Battle Mode Switch Hold the button during startup and release it when the button LED flashes once.

It will switch to battle mode. In battle mode, it will detect impacts and activate lockup and stab.

Also, when battle mode is on, motion actions are turned off.

Lightning Block Mode When it is running, press the button and pull (pull the hilt). When activated, there is a lockup sound and a lightning block effect.
Mode Cancellation Click the button while in Lightning Block mode. Turn off Lightning Block mode.
Color change function*1 Hold the button during startup and release it when the button LED flashes twice. This will switch to color change mode, where you can change the blade color.
During color change mode, the blade color will change over time.

Click the button for the color you want to set. Decide the blade color and release the mode.
Force Sound While activated, hold the button with the hilt above horizontal and twist. When activated, a blade effect and force sound will be activated. *This will not occur with fonts that do not have force sound.

RGB ⇔ PIXEL switching

(Deprecated in v1.2 and later FW)

While the camera is stopped, hold down the button until you hear "RGB to PIXEL" (for about 15 seconds).
The font may change and the power may be turned off during the process, but please continue holding the hold.

Switch between Inherit LED mode and Neo Pixel mode.

Not normally used.


*1: Currently, the color change function of XENO3 (XRGB) changes three colors in tandem, so for some fonts that have a mixed RGB color (RGB=(255,255,255), etc.), pure red (255,0,0) or blue (0,0,255) will not appear.

*: Bluetooth cannot be used regardless of whether the software setting is ON or OFF, as we cannot confirm that it has met the technical standards conformity certification (Giteki) required by the Radio Law . The Bluetooth system has been omitted from our store for use in Japan .

About changing settings

The motion function, motion sensitivity, countdown sound when holding a button, and blade mode function can be changed by changing the settings.
