Regarding handling of lithium ion batteries
Lithium-ion batteries, commonly used in custom lightsabers, require careful handling.
Please be sure to refer to the following before using the service.
- Be sure to use the charger and AC adapter provided (or one recommended by our store) with the appropriate current and voltage.
- When charging, please remove the lightsaber from the charger within 24 hours. The lightsaber battery has a protection circuit, but if the charger is faulty, it may be overcharged, so we recommend removing it within 24 hours.
- Do not leave the battery in a high temperature location, such as near a heat source like a stove or fire, or in direct sunlight, as this may cause leakage or malfunction.
- Do not use in rainy weather or get wet with water, seawater, juice, or other liquids.
- Charging with an insufficient charger or AC adapter may cause malfunction.
- If the battery is a removable type, be sure to check the positive and negative poles. If the poles are connected incorrectly, the current will flow in the wrong direction, causing an abnormal reaction that may result in malfunction or fire.
- Do not connect the positive and negative terminals of the battery with metal. A short circuit can be extremely dangerous. Also, do not carry or store the battery together with metal objects such as necklaces, coins, hairpins, or keys.
- Do not drop or throw the product from a high place.
- Do not disassemble the battery or remove the shrink wrap (cover).
- If you will not be using the product for an extended period of time, remove the battery and store it in a dry place.
- Keep batteries and lightsabers equipped with batteries out of the reach of infants and children.
- When the battery life becomes shorter, replace it with a new battery.
- If the battery leaks or emits an unusual odor, immediately remove it from fire, as the leaked electrolyte may ignite.
- Please refrain from using the device while charging.
