How to remove the SD card

Please follow the steps and precautions below when removing the SD card.

How to Remove the SD Card

The SD card slots on the sabers we carry are not spring-loaded (the type you push to eject). You can simply slide the card out with your finger or tweezers to remove it.

Removal Steps

  1. Turn the saber's power OFF.
  2. Turn the kill switch OFF. (For safer operation, we recommend removing the battery from the chassis if possible.)

Regarding Exceptions

Circuit boards such as the Crystal Focus (CFX) provided by Plecter Labs are spring-loaded (the type you push to eject). In the case of these boards, gently push the card in once, then pull it out after it springs back.

Important Precautions During Operation

[Precaution ①] Backup Recommended

Before making any setting changes, please make sure to back up all data on the SD card as a precaution.

[Precaution ②] Battery Polarity (Orientation)

When returning the battery to the chassis after working, please pay close attention to the positive and negative polarity (orientation). Inserting it incorrectly may short-circuit and damage the board.
