Regarding color and style reset

Here are the steps to restore your Proffieboard model to its factory settings after making changes in Edit Settings mode, color changes, or blade style changes.

※These instructions are for ProffieOS 7.15. Some methods may not be available for models with older OS versions.

Method 1: Revert using color change/style change operations

Overview

This method involves performing a color change or style change operation on the target font (sound file) and manually restoring it to the original settings.

Note

The operation methods for color change and style change differ between 1-button and 2-button systems.
Please refer to the operation manual applicable to your model.

Method 2: Rewrite with the config file

Overview

You can restore the factory settings by rewriting the firmware to the Proffieboard using the Config file (.h) stored on the SD card.

⚠ Important: Please back up all data on the SD card before proceeding.

Steps

  1. Back up the data on the SD card.
  2. Check the Config file (.h file) on the SD card.
  3. Rewrite the firmware using the Config file with Arduino IDE.

※ This operation will overwrite all color settings and blade styles you have changed, reverting them to the factory settings.

Method 3: Reset by deleting saved data

Overview

The Proffieboard stores information about color changes and style changes in files on the SD card.
Deleting these files will reset the stored information, reverting to the state it was in when it was last written.

⚠ Important: Please back up all data on the SD card before proceeding.

Files to be deleted

Please delete all of the following files located directly on the SD card:

curstate.ini
curstate.tmp
gesture.ini
global.ini
presets.ini
presets.tmp

Steps

  1. Turn off the saber and remove the SD card.
  2. Back up the data on the SD card.
  3. Delete the files mentioned above.
  4. Insert the SD card back into the saber and turn on the power.

※ When you turn on the power, the Proffieboard will automatically regenerate these files in their initial state.
