It is a standard design feature for the switch board to be unfastened within the chassis.
If the switch board appears loose or sinks when pressed, this is not a factory defect. The design requires the board to be pushed out and secured using the screw on the back once the unit is installed in the hilt.

Installation Procedure
Role of the Screws
There are two screw holes provided on the back of NEXUS combat hilts. Each serves a different purpose.
- First screw: For securing the chassis unit to the hilt.
- Second screw (for tensioning): For pushing the internal board out toward the surface of the hilt.
※ Included among the parts are several screws that are slightly longer than the others. These are the screws for tensioning.
- Insert the chassis unit into the hilt.
- Align the charging port and buttons with the corresponding openings, and align the screw holes. Tighten the first screw from the back of the hilt to secure the chassis in place.
- Tighten the tensioning screw (the longer screw) from the back.
- The internal electronic board will be pushed forward, fixing the Type-C port and buttons in the correct position through the hilt openings.
- Ensure that the buttons can be pressed correctly and that the charging cable can be fully inserted.
⚠ Tightening Guide
Stop tightening the tensioning screw once the buttons and port are properly aligned. Overtightening may damage the board or the hilt.
